Secret Mission Start
No one is safe from the Kyuubi-powered Naruto, not even Kabuto, who, in an
attempt to help Orochimaru, is blown back and into the woods by the Kyuubi’s
chakra. The bridge collapses and Sakura is knocked unconscious as Naruto races
after Orochimaru into the woods. Yamato manages to hold the bridge up with
Mokuton no Jutsu (Wood Style Jutsu) for a brief moment, though this cannot hold
the bridge forever.
Sai, on the other hand, summons a bird with Choujuu Giga and, ignoring a falling
Sakura, decides to start on his real mission.
Further in the woods, a rattled Orochimaru is not impressed by the Jinchuuriki’s
power. In fact, he didn’t even have to use his real body, which comes out of the
mouth of his current body. The real Orochimaru reveals himself just in time as a
fourth tail begins to sprout on Naruto.
Subconsciously, Naruto is back within the realm of the Kyuubi. For awhile,
nothing happens, but he sees someone walking in the distance. Sasuke? Yes,
Sasuke is walking further and further into the darkness and cannot hear Naruto’s
yells. When Naruto gets closer, the waters rise and submerge him until Sasuke is
out of his reach.
Naruto realizes why he failed to return Sasuke long ago: he was too weak and
didn’t have the strength to defeat his friend, his nakama. When Rasengan and
Chidori clashed at the Valley of the End, Sasuke slipped further into darkness,
so Naruto has to get stronger no matter what the cost. Still in his
subconscious, he drifts into the Kyuubi’s gate and embraces the power.
In reality, Naruto’s fangs elongate, his skin begins to peel, and blood begins
to drip from his body and mix with the Kyuubi’s chakra.
Yamato, after Sakura regains consciousness, creates a Moku Bunshin (Wood Clone)
to check on Naruto’s battle, but fierce winds destroy everything in its path,
including Sai’s bird, so the clone uses Mokuton, Mokujou Heki (Earth Style, Wood
Blocking Wall) to protect itself from the debris.
When the dust clears, Yamato can only curse in disgust as he stares at a
miniature Four-Tailed Kyuubi.
