Lockdown of Darkness
After Naruto goes after Sora the entire village suffers a power outage.
Figuring it is most likely an attack, Tsunade declares a level two state of
emergency and deploys squads around the village, excluding Asuma who is sent to
find Naruto and Sora.
At the main gate, a few shinobi notice strangers
coming toward the village, not knowing it is Furiido and his group. The attack
begins and nothing seems to even be able to graze them. As the counter-attack
begins, the group erects a defensive barrier around the village, allowing only
the four to enter and exit. Tsunade then declares a level one state of emergency
and all shinobi are sent to the main gate. Meanwhile, Team Ebisu begins to
escort civilians to safety, making it their first A-rank mission.
Furiido
begins summoning dead shinobi, some of which belong to Konoha, and the Kohaku
clan, who was seen to have been wiped out earlier by the group.
When
Asuma catches up to Sora he realizes that Sora's talk of the "two kings" means
that Furiido's group is reattempting the coup d'état that failed years before.
He explains to Sora that they plan on killing everyone using the power of the
lightening masters whose caskets were those stolen from the Fire Temple, which
causes Sora to break down, as he had no idea of these intentions. Asuma leaves
to join the battle and Naruto chases after Sora once more.
