As Team Kakashi sets out for their mission, a woman, who is found out
to be a decoder, heads to decode the message about what has happened in
Suna.
Deidara
heads off before Kankuro can do anything, so he must contend with
Sasori. Kuroari emerges from the sand and sends Sasori into the air.
When Sasori’s captured by Kuroari, Kankuro prepares to use Karakuri
Engeki (Puppet Play): Kuro Higi Ippatsu (Black Secret Technique, One
Dreadful Shot).
Team Kakashi receives their mission: coastal
transport convoy, and as expected, Naruto turns it down. This easily
infuriates the others, but before anything can be accomplished, the
decoder enters and delivers word about the message from Suna. Team
Kakashi’s mission is to find out anything and assist Suna in any way
they can.
Kuroari opens and Sasori dissolves into sand. He makes
light work of Kankuro’s puppets, but when smoke bombs are shot at him,
he still doesn’t put effort into fighting back. Kankuro uses Dokugiri
Zuyoku: Baribiri Shikaku Renpatsu (Poison Fog: Blind Spot Destroyer).
Still, Sasori survives and his tail shoots forward, but it is blocked
by Sanshouo, a puppet that has the strength of an iron wall (which
would explain how Kankuro and some of the others survived that rock
slide from earlier). But as Sasori points out and exposes for himself,
Sanshouo has a weak spot. It turns out that the creator of all three
puppets is none other than Sasori of the Red Sands, the very same.
Kankuro soon collapses due to the poison spreading throughout his
entire body and he blacks out.
In Konoha, Jiraiya tells Naruto not to use “that” jutsu before heading off.
